Mirror transformation

I had a mirror that I wasn't using so I sprayed it with chalkboard paint to hang in the kitchen. I'm getting so forgetful that I go to the grocery store and buy all the ingredients for a dish I put them in the pantry and then forget what I had planned to make. So I'm going to write them on the board and then Kyle can choose from the list. We had leftovers yesterday from the cookout and Kyle said I needed to put it on the menu board. Lol. I don't think I'm that forgetful. I'm not that old!

I had Kyle working in the yard this weekend. I had to add my signature color in there somewhere. Those pink flowers are suppose to grow and cover all the mulch. I can't wait! the other bushes are hydrangeas. Those will be a suprise color when they bloom because it depends on the soil. I'm dying to know what color they are going to turn out. I really wanted blue but we will have to wait and see.    We did the side of the house with white rose bushes but they are a little bare hence not photo worthy yet. 

We finished the weekend off with a cookout. I am definitely my fathers daughter. He would have been proud of us. I just hope it's just as good when he comes to visit.
